Those machines are poison, I know someone who lost marriage, home and family to them. Speaks volumes that they are so profitable that firms will open one shop close to another just to get around being allowed only four machines per shop.

personally, i'm glad the greyhound racing game is diminishing. Have seen some with their ears cut off and abandoned they were deemed to be not good enough for the track. it's a good thing.

If you get invited to York races, in a free box for a meal and free booze with 8 mates, you are doing your absolute brains in!! FACT
"I've won 100k 50k loads of times" OK Mate, so thats why you're going mental over 100 quid at 2/1.
The local drug dealer on the machines, why doesn't he go and buy a change of clobber with his 500 quid profit rather than get too cocky infront of the camera. Yes watching him drop 3 bags was hard viewing but he had a tattoo on his neck ffs.
The old boy should maybe pay his mortgage and bills before spouting off on telly maybe.
I gamble alot, everyday, I'll never understand the addiction that takes hold of people.
Lat nights episode was the worst of the lot, but the 1st two had been quite lighthearted and we didn't come across badly so it was always gonna concentrate on the FOBT players.
Mitch and his mate were good lads, although they started OI OI ing very early on there winner and the main fella in the syndicate looked a bit bloody worried,

That bloke who they took to the races will be an absolute mug punter. Anyone who earns real money on their online account gets thrown off in a matter of weeks !
All bookies (except 365) get rid of you straight away if you know what you're doing. They just want mugs money - that geezer will be well down with Coral who one of the worst (betfred is officially the worst though)!
Some of my mates can;t bet more than a tenner in some shops !! Thats why I love bashing bookies, they pretend to back the Gamble aware campaign but in reality they hate a winner, they limit your account to £5 bets as soon as start to win regularly but have never limited any losers account ever ????
Scum bags the lot of them so when you get a bit info bash the fxck out of them !!

I'd be amazed if that was bloke was a single penny in profit with Coral, no way they'd be chasing his business if he was beating them. Came across a bit of a cock.

Not sure if it is meant to make bookies look good and that's why Coral agreed to it, but I think it makes them look awful.
I reckon they should be regulated a lot tighter.
Something like £100 maximum daily online bet and only one betting shop in any square mile. And definitely outlaw the machines that seem to attract the addict.
Lots could be done, very little is being done.... but hey they put up some posters once a year to ease their conscience.

The fella who was invited by Coral to the races, professional gambler, bets £100 to win £300. The Horses is a mugs game.
But has had wins of £50k-£100k numerous times on Football, Tennis and Golf.
Chinny reckon.
